"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 NLT96

"I urge you first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your requests, plead for God's mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace and quietness, in godliness and dignity. For this is good and pleases God our Savior, for he wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4 NLT96

Wall of Prayer

AMCF is a group of international military Christians who desire to be men and women of faith like the Roman officer Jesus commended in Matthew chapter eight. Our goal is to serve Christ and share Him with others while also serving our nations’ armed forces.

AMCF is composed of indigenously-led military Christian fellowships (MCFs) and individual military Christians in over 100 nations. We welcome you to learn more about us on this website, and appreciate your prayers as our members strive to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with the Lord our God (Micah 6:8).

"Beware in your prayers, above everything else, of limiting God, not only by unbelief, but by fancying that you know what He can do. Expect unexpected things, ‘above all that we ask or think’. Each time, before you Intercede, be quiet first, and worship God in His glory. Think of what He can do, and how He delights to hear the prayers of His redeemed people. Think of your place and privilege in Christ, and expect great things!" Andrew Murray

Our military forces are engaged in a global war on terror, and the troops are strained both physically and spiritually. A DOD task force reports that up to 49% of returning troops have psychological problems, and an Air Force Chaplain notes that 67% of junior enlisted marriages require counseling. The Boston Globe states that modern medicine has increased the ratio of wounded to killed in action from 2:6 in Vietnam to 16:1, taxing our VA medical facilities. The Army’s 2008 suicide rate more than doubled those in 9/11. Meeting the ministry needs of our armed forces now exceeds the resources of military / VA chaplains and Christian military para-church organizations, and support from our churches is needed.

Prevailing in the war on terror will require the churches, chaplains, and para-churches working together; “A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” (Eccl. 4:12) Jesus also addressed the value of intercessory prayer in the Gospel of Matthew: “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.” (Mt. 18:19)

Will you prayerfully consider joining the Association for Christian Conferences, Teaching & Service (ACCTS) Christian Military Fellowship (CMF), and Officers Christian Fellowship (OCF) to call down a “Prayer Wall of Fire” around our military? The para-churches and the chaplains have laid the foundation, but we need hundreds of churches to complete the wall. Ministering together, we can equip our troops with the full armor of God as they fight to protect our freedoms.

Please indicate your participation using the prayer map on the ACCTS website. This will help us track construction of the Wall of Prayer, and let you see those who are praying with you. You can also register on this website for a conference of prayer partners in August, described elsewhere in this brochure. “The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” (Jas 5:16b)
